  • Pleasuring a woman: An erection might feel good but it is likely to be a disadvantage if a man wants to devote time to pleasuring a woman. After all, two minutes is a typical time given for a man to reach orgasm! A man can learn techniques for slowing down his orgasm by investing private time during masturbation. "Basicall y, a man needs about two or three minutes of stimulation to have an orgasm. It is generally a very simple process, as easy as shaking up a can of beer and then letting it pop! If a woman is to have an orgasm, she generally needs about ten times that amount of time. She needs twenty to thirty minutes of foreplay and stimulation of her genitals." ; (p63 Mars & Venus in the Bedroom 1995) There are various ways to spice up your sex life. Start your sex sessions with a quickie in the shower (get your partner to lather you and either masturbate or suck you off) and then retire to the bedroom to return the favour by investing some quality time in pleasuring your woman.
  • Allvoices.com - Why Foreplay Techniques Don't Always Work As We...: Foreplay has evolved as a means of compensating women for the lack of clitoral stimulation during intercourse. The concept behind foreplay techniques (including clitoral stimulation) is that a man should be able to arouse a woman sufficiently to enable him to continue stimulating her to orgasm through thrusting alone. One problem with foreplay is that clitoral stimulation needs to continue to the point of orgasm. (Imagine leaving off penile stimulation just as a man heads for orgasm!) More fundamentally though, foreplay techniques do not necessarily assist with women's arousal because sexual arousal depends more on a person's psychological state than on physical stimulation.

  • The Purpose of Foreplay in Your Sex Life: The role of foreplay is to gradually arouse your better half to get her ready and help her to reach a better orgasm. This historically means the caressing, fondling, and exciting her erogenous sections. Famous erogenous sectors include the lips, the breasts, the anus and the clitoris. There are other erogenous zones, however, and these include the neck, the ear and the perineum or the space between the genitals and the anus. Give your other half a different kind of thrill by kissing and licking these spots.
